Love The Game, Stay In Love
Our Foundation Phase is probably the most important time in a child's football life. Here they start to be part of a team, socialise with peers and begin to understand winning and losing.
It is a delicate balance of enjoyment and learning, but at BFA the main aim at this age is to love the game, be free to make mistakes and not be criticised for it, embrace creativity and encourage confidence, not just in their football but in their character.

Foundation Phase Teams: Boys And Girls
We have teams that play in games starting from Under 6. Throughout this phase there is no focus on winning games. We need the children to love the game and understand the process it takes to improve. The emphasis is on individual and team targets, and parents have a huge part to play: positive encouragement only on the sideline, leave the coaching to the coach.
